John Harrison is the Founder of The Association of Palmistry Counsellors,which specialises in promoting the profession of Palmistry,as a vocation.
Having written a Masters Thesis on the synthesis of Palmistry and Chirology, he lectures internationally,often at Mind ,Body and Soul Exhibitions.
The purpose of Palmistry Counselling is NOT specifically to predict the future but with the use of Hand Analysis,and counselling skills,to be a facilitator and guide for clients,on lifes journey.
For the professional Palmist,it is helpful to have developed their spiritual intuition,but it is essential to gain knowledge of Chirology,as one requires more than 'psychic abilities'[which can be unreliable and inaccurate],to provide a reading with accuracy and honesty.
The principle skills required to become a Palmistry Counsellor are knowledge,compassion,empathy,intuition,observation,deduction, and integrity.From client testimonials that I have received over the years,the most repeated comment is 'accuracy',meaning that I have correctly defined their character,personality and skills!.Also,they refer to my uncanny insights,warmth and humour,and excellent advice.
